NAFOW Calgary 2016

April 19th: Allt-y-Goed [near Poppit Sands] to Newport Sands. THE TOUGHEST TO DATE!!

Mona [the M in MaD] says that this was the toughest hike on the nicest day to date and I have to agree! We were both pretty tired after over 6 hours of hiking. Glad to have a couple of days of rest. We are now in Borth with cousins, John and Jill. We still have the Llanrhystud to Borth coastal path to walk. The Pembrokeshire coastline was spectacular! We saw a sea-otter near Bwn Bach, some seals further on, and a couple of peregrine falcons. One nesting! The cliffs were spectacular! The photos don’t do the walk justice..they don’t give you accurately the feeling of height or depth nor, of course, the sounds. Difficult to know what photos to put on or not…

WOW! What a hike and what a view! I think you are doing a marvellous job in persevering with your hike through all the rugged trails. I have to take your word for it in seeing the sea otter! The scenery is absolutely spectacular!
Wishing you a very Happy Easter! Love you!
