NAFOW Calgary 2016

April 1st: Aberporth to New Quay

What a beautiful day! Thanks Geoff and Nora for the ride! Thanks Wynford for the drive and company for the day! Now after walking this stretch of the coastal walk I’m not sure if the Ceredigion coastal path might be a ‘hidden jewel’! Thanks Andy for your shared quote re: Cwmtydu..[place of caves and smugglers]..”A village in the valley, smiling at the sighing sea”. Lots of steep climbs and a diversion [coastal path landslip] that added a couple of miles to our 13 mile hike. The colours were amazing and we were able to make out the whole of Cardigan Bay, including the Lleyn peninsula, Bardsey Island and the mountains of North Wales. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the day!
