March 20th: Rest day in Burry Port!

We’ve taken a rest day today in Burry Port where cousins, Huw and Daphne, have a great flat overlooking the coast. With the weather turning, this break is going to give us the opportunity to prepare to face some stormy days ahead! Thank you Huw and Daphne!

Tomorrow, we head to Kidwelly and perhaps Llansaint! Ray Davies of Kidwelly, who has been a great help in organizing aspects of our walk, will be joining us!

Da iawn Mona a David, not forgetting Oscar! What excellent progress and how wise to take a rest day today, which is rapidly becoming a wash out! On to Kidwelly tomorrow. Kidwelly is not named after children’s rainwear. The name Cydweli means the shared (river) bed where the two rivers Gwendraeth, the Fawr and the Fach, enter the sea. Pob hwyl! Huw T (Williams)
