March 24th: Rest day in Carmarthen [the land of my mother!]

With the Llanstephan to St Clears coastal path walk completed in February with Lise R and David L, tomorrow we will be walking from St Clears to Pendine.
This is our proposed schedule, subject to change:
Mar 25: St. Clears to Pendine
Mar 26: Pendine to Saundersfoot
Mar 27: Saundersfoot to Lydstep or Manorbier
We will be joined for a few days by friends from France and Ireland.

To date we, Mona and David [MaD], have walked from Chepstow in SE Wales to St Clears in Carmarthenshire, a distance of approximately 220 miles or 350 km.

Those rum and blacks in the Jolly Tar seem to have done you some good!! Since you’re a stone’s throw from Whitland, is it possible you’ll have a chance to visit the Hywel Dda Centre? Born in 928 AD, his laws were enforced in Wales until the Act of Union in 1536. Pob lwc, Huw T.
