May 10th: Near Hermon to Rhos Neigr [about 11 miles] WILD, WINDY WALES…A GREAT DAY FOR WALKING ANGLESEY’S COASTAL PATH!
The high winds made for a beautifully different day…the walks along the coast provided us with spectacular ocean scenes…it’s unfortunate we can’t share with you the sounds of the crashing waves and whistling winds. The visit to St. Cwfan’s church was a plus…the tide was in our favour and we were able to walk and sit for a while by the church. Walked past the Anglesey Racing circuit where a British Racing and Sports car club race was taking place! Enjoyed the small pleasures such as a coffee at Aberffraw with the sparrows, the flowers along the cliff-top walks – the first foxglove…….
