May 13th: Four Mile Bridge to Porth Dafarch [about 11 miles] A LUCKY DAY –SUN SHINING, A HOLY WELL, SEARCH & RESCUE PRACTICE….

A beautiful coastline of coves, sandy beaches and some stunning colours…had a grandstand seat to watch a helicopter search and rescue practice…it was a pleasure to meet Trefor building a stone wall, an ancient practice – our walk has reminded us of a time when dry-stone masonry must have been a skill practiced by thousands throughout Wales…visited St Gwenfaen’s holy well and imagined the pilgrims that must have walked to seek its healing powers…
